Carlson Company of Tulsa, OK has been acquired by Continental Materials Corporation of Chicago, IL. Carlson Company is a family-owned company, formed in 1958, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, renowned for manufacturing precision large diameter steel flanges, rings, and disks. Carlson operates a state of the art, precision fabrication and machining facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Industries served include petroleum refining, petrochemical, heavy industrial, food processing, utility, and transportation industries, primarily large blue-chip companies.
Carlson Company (www.carlson-company.com) machines and drills custom rings and flanges (TEMA, ASME, AWWA, Taylor Forge, NACE) up to 162” O.D, 132” height, and weighing 50,000 pounds. Carlson has a wide range of manual and CNC machines, ranging in swing from 24” to 111” with live spindle capability. Carlson can machine very heavy, large-diameter flanges to face and bore parts up to 11 ft tall. Carlson’s horizontal and vertical turret lathes are capable of machining diameters up to 162” and assorted manual drills with Carlson’s patented Chord Right Table Indexing System can accurately drill bolt circles in parts up to the same diameter. Carlson’s CNC horizontal rotary table boring mill has a 6” diameter spindle and 55,100 pounds of rotary table capacity.
